Here in Scottsdale, Arizona, we are lucky enough to live in a place where we can expand our living space to the beautiful outdoors quite easily. The weather is usually quite cooperative, and with the proper setup, we can be outside almost every day. These people came to TraVek wanting to make their backyard beautiful. At the time it was rather bland and uninviting. Maybe a better way to put it is that it was just outdated and in need of a freshening. We worked with them to come up with a beautiful plan that gave them space where they could relax in comfort and beauty, and a place where they can be proud to host their family and friends. Nice patio setup
Here is a great daytime shot of the patio and back yard. As you can see, it's not a real large yard, but it is one that is very attractive and has more than enough to be able to entertain a large crowd or be a space of relaxation for the one at home.
Louvered Patio Ceiling
This louvered patio ceiling is perfect for an Arizona home. It can be shut if the sun becomes too beastly hot or if the monsoon rains are here. Notice the misting systems from Mist America. They surround the edge of the roof, and then there are also the misting fans. They can cool the space to as much as 30 degrees cooler than the outdoors!

As you look farther back, you can see a gas fire pit with comfortable chairs. This is really a place to relax and enjoy being home and in the great outdoors, all at the same time.
