TraVek Again Named on of Top 500 Remodelers in Nation

[Scottsdale, AZ] August 23, 2021, Qualified Remodeler, a leading publication serving remodelers and home improvement companies in the U.S., has ranked TRAVEK, INC as the No. 168 on its 43rd annual TOP 500 remodelers of 2021. TRAVEK, INC was previously ranked at No. 297 in 2020 when they made their first appearance. Since 1978, the QR TOP 500 has tracked the industry’s largest and fastest-growing companies. 

TRAVEK, INC. was chosen as a 2021Top 500 remodeler by the Qualified Remodeler editorial staff for meeting a set of criteria including installed remodeling dollar volume, total years in business, industry association membership, industry certification, industry awards, and community service.

With the economic impact of 2020, many remodeling companies saw a downturn in business with overall revenue from the Top 500 companies dropping in comparison to the previous list. 

“Revenues last year were definitely off,” says Michael Klein, CEO of Airoom Architects Builders Remodelers, No. 71 on the list with $25.6 million in revenue, down from $30.9 million the year prior. “We didn’t sell a single job last April for the first time in 63 years. We substantially closed all departments from April 1, 2020, through June 30, 2020, except for field production and jobs already under construction and 90 percent completed. We didn’t start normalizing operations and sales until September 2021.”

In spite of everything, TRAVEK, a design-build whole home remodeling company located in Scottsdale, improved its rankings and remained in operation for the entirety of 2020. Opening their doors on September 6, 2001, five days before the attacks on 9/11, TRAVEK is no stranger to uncertain times.
