TraVek, Inc. Acquires Trades Unlimited

TraVek has come full circle to its roofing beginning.

[Scottsdale, AZ] December 21, 2020, TraVek, Inc, a reputable Scottsdale remodeling company, has acquired Trades Unlimited, a well-known and established roofing and building envelope waterproofing company here in the valley. The official announcement was made Monday morning, December 21. The move to acquire Trades Unlimited first started in August of this year when Warren Raisanen, owner of Trades Unlimited, indicated he was interested in selling so that he could pursue another venture. The process took a few months, and the deal was signed Friday, December 18, 2020.

“This is really exciting for us for several reasons. First of all, we’re glad to be able to expand the services to offer both Trades Unlimited and TraVek customers,” said Von Raisanen, President of TraVek, Inc. “My father and a partner first started SunVek Roofing in the 80s but sold it in 1994. We are very familiar with all facets of roofing, but our focus in recent years has been on remodeling. We have always kept our roofing license, with the thought that one day we would add a roofing division.”

“Now things are coming full circle,” said Warren Raisanen, President and Owner of Trades Unlimited, in his farewell letter to his customers. “My nephews have built perhaps the most respected remodeling company in the valley.  However, they have a background in roofing and wanted to add that to their services. Their ethics, morals, and way of doing business are very similar to Paul’s and mine.  I came to a point where I want to move on and try something different before it is time for me to retire fully, so this situation simply makes a lot of sense for all of us.” 

The acquisition of Trades Unlimited fits into TraVek’s strategy to be the ‘go-to’ for all home improvement services. By purchasing Trades Unlimited, will also provide additional career growth opportunities to the TraVek and Trades Unlimited teams, and growth opportunities for TraVek as a whole.
