What is a soft-close cabinet? It is a great solution to the noisy banging and clanging you hear coming from the kitchen as cabinet doors and drawers are shut!
Whenever I design a kitchen remodel here in Scottsdale, you can be sure I will be recommending soft-close cabinets. This is a luxury that most people do not even think of until they see or hear the difference. In fact, it was not until just recently when I spent some time in the kitchen of someone who does not have soft-close that I recognized how much noise my cabinets used to make.
A soft-close cabinet has a special hinge on every door and drawer that will "grab" the door within an inch or two of closed, and bring it to nearly a stop and then draw it in to a quiet, controlled close.
