Sales Manager, Remodeling and Roofing

    The TraVek Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a high-performing Roofing and Remodeling sales team to achieve revenue targets, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and drive business growth. This role involves setting sales strategies, coaching and mentoring sales representatives, and overseeing sales operations.


    What success looks like:

    Team Leadership:

    Recruit, train, and develop a talented and motivated sales team.

    Set clear sales targets and goals for the team based on company objectives

    Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team to ensure they meet or exceed their targets.

    Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.


    Sales Strategy:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve TraVek’s revenue goals.

    Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities and threats.

    Set pricing strategies, product positioning, and sales tactics.


    Customer Relationship Management:

    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.

    Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.

    Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.


    Sales Planning and Forecasting:

    Develop annual and quarterly sales plans and forecasts.

    Monitor sales performance against targets and make adjustments as necessary.

    Report on sales results to senior management.


    Sales Process Optimization:

    Continuously assess and improve the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.

    Implement sales tools and technology to streamline operations.

    Develop and maintain standardized sales procedures and documentation.


    Budget Management:


    Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively.

    Control expenses to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.



    Market Research:

    Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

    Use market research to identify new sales opportunities and market segments.

    Training and Development:


    Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team.

    Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.


    Reporting and Analytics:

    Generate sales reports, analyze data, and draw actionable insights.

    Utilize data to make informed decisions and track progress toward sales goals.


    Requirements:


    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

    Proven experience in sales and sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

    Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

    Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

    Knowledge of sales software and CRM systems.

    Analytical and data-driven decision-making.

    Strong problem-solving skills.

    Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions.
