Did you know….that the Tra in TraVek came from Trades Unlimited? Yes, it’s true!As you probably have already heard, TraVek bought Trades Unlimited at the end of December 2020. What you may not know is that we have a long history with Trades Unlimited.
Back in the mid-90s, there was no TraVek yet. We, along with others, were Trades Unlimited, and we did both roofing and remodeling. In 2001, some of the team wanted to focus more on remodeling, and so we separated to form TraVek, Inc.
Now fast forward 20+ years: Although we always maintained our roofing license, we never had our own roofing crews. TraVek had been wanting to bring on roofing again because it just made sense to be able to offer that as part of our whole home improvements. Warren Raisanen, the owner at Trades Unlimited, was wanting to sell so he could begin a new venture. The timing was impeccable! Everything worked out for the sale, and now we have a roofing department that came fully prepared. Fortunately, with the exception of Warren, their whole team came with the purchase, and we could not have asked for nicer people or a nicer transfer.
We are delighted to offer our TraVek customers roofing services! We are also so happy to be able to continue maintaining the roofs and taking care of Trades Unlimited’s long-time customers.
