Human Resources

Alex is the Human Resources Manager here at TraVek. She oversees recruitment and hiring, and works to streamline our processes and procedures in every department. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona in Communications and Spanish. Alex is fluent in Spanish and Serbo-Croatian, and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.

Prior to joining the TraVek team, Alex was the Corporate Recruiter for Kitchell Contractors, where she was responsible for staffing Kitchell’s companies throughout the US. Alex contributed to Kitchell’s ability to attract top talent for its various companies, as it relates to various HR administrative functions. Alex assisted multiple college recruiting champions in streamlining the Kitchell Contractors Internship Academy, worked with Kitchell’s General Superintendent to develop an available labor pool for field operations, as well as played an integral part in improving the onboarding process for all Kitchell companies. Alex started her career with the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, where she was responsible for staffing the entire resort. Her experience in recruitment, retention, process improvement and human resources administration add tremendous value to the TraVek operation.

Alex is an avid golfer and passionate about the sport. When not on the golf course, you can find her at home with her family, cooking/baking, completing crosswords and spending weekends up in Christopher Creek.
